Today I have the pleasure of introducing Jadette Paige. She’s special and wonderful. She’d go out on any limb to help someone, and I’m proud to call her my friend. Her writing is hot enough to sear my eyebrows, but I keep right on reading.

Cate: Jadette, tell us a little about yourself.

Jadette: When I’m not writing, I’m reading, watching anime or enjoying the country atmosphere of my home. I love to sit on my back patio and look out over the pastures to where my Appaloosa mare is grazing. My little dachshund is either stretched out at my feet or sprawled on my lap (that girl knows how to relax!).

Cate: With four men in the house, you need all the female company you can come across, even the four-legged kind, I imagine. So, how can a calm, nature-loving woman come up with the stories you do?

Jadette: It’s like the characters I’ve created have set me free to explore a new avenue of writing. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my writing and you know what? I’m loving every second of it. Wink…should have been doing this a long time ago.

Cate: New Avenue? Like Heat Street, maybe. Or like last summer when the pavement at the end of my block buckled… You’re finishing up something called Blue Heaven. Tell us about it.

Jadette: You want the long or the short version?

Cate: All you’re willing to give us.

Jadette: OMG! I am so excited about this book. It’s my first book I have ever written with male/male protagonists. And to have Siren contract it is absolutely wonderful. Cate, you’ve been through the entire writing experience along with me for this book. It is very close to my heart cause I fell in love with both Stryver and my precious Blue.

Cate: Details, details, woman, and just for the record, I’ll take Stryver off your hands anytime!

Jadette: Here’s a little more, then. And Blue says you can’t have Stryver. You can’t even borrow him!

Take him from Heaven’s Seat. Bring him to me. We will protect his sacred head. Stryver Zorti’s mission appeared simple. Kidnap the Godchild and deliver him to his master. But with the first meeting of the holy man’s azure gaze, desire surged in him to strip bare the God and touch the man within.

Worshiped all his life, the Godchild is shocked by the stranger who dared lay hands on him, even if to save him from assassins. With a strange name given by his new ally, Blue is freed from the constraints of the holy order for the first time. He revels in the fresh experiences opening to him, then to the passion that sparks between him and the hard-edged, oddly gentle Stryver. But a god does not love, and if discovered, their precarious utopia will shatter, destroying any chance for a future together–that is if the assassins don’t kill them first.

Cate: I can’t wait to read it cover to cover, Jadette! Before we go, tell us where we can find you out in cyberspace.

Jadette: I love to hear from fans. If they stop by my website, be sure and sign the guest book! Hopefully my cover will show up soon and it’ll be posted on the blog sidebar too! And here’s where you can find me:

Cate: Jadette, thanks for all of your time, and since ‘break a leg’ isn’t appropriate, I leave you with a wish. May all your dreams come true, and may you write more books for me to enjoy!

Jadette: Aw, Cate, you are great! Thanks so much for having me on Some Write It Hot. It’s an awesome blog!
