A Scarlet Past by Evanne Lorraine

Hi there reading friend,

As a thank you to readers, and to promote A Taste of Scarlet, releasing in January 2011 from Loose Id Publishing, I wrote a prequel to that story, A Scarlet Past. My original intention was to publish it as a free Kindle title. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn’t allow individuals to release free reads. So, the novella will be priced at Amazon’s minimal charge of 99 cents. Before that happens, you can read can an ARC for free.

Here’s the blurb for, A Scarlet Past (an erotic paranormal romance novella) by Evanne Lorraine:

As World War II heats up, so does the secret battle on the home front. For two touch-starved werewolf warriors, mating is more than pleasure—it’s a matter of survival. Vivian heals the fissures in Fergus’s humanity. Though he saved Vivian’s life, she’s an Alpha bitch unable to meekly submit to any male. Both try to dominate the other, when surrendering to their deepest desires is the only chance for victory.

Along with the novella, there’s an original short story, SonSet by KevaD here’s that blurb:

For a SonRise, there must be a SonSet. In 1941, the souls of two Romanian farmers are stolen by war. On the streets of Odessa, Ukraine, innocence offers their return. But can the soldiers afford the price?

Also included in the ARC is a freshly edited first chapter of Huntsmen 1: Lights Out! by Amber Green here’s blurb for her novel:

In a world at war, twin brothers battle the monstrous hydes for control of the blacked-out city streets. Having traded her ass for a role in the fight, Lorie can survive only by accepting the power of desire.

Because I believe enthusiastic readers are the best possible promotion I’d love to send you a free PDF copy. If you don’t have Adobe Reader on your computer it’s available free here:

Here’s how to score your free ebook:

1) Promise me you are at least eighteen.

2) Send your email addy to me at please but ARC review in the subject line (so it doesn’t get eaten by the spam filter).

3) Post a review (good, bad, or so-so) on your blog, website, or Goodreads by November 17th, 2010. Email me the link to your review at my gmail addy. Please put review link in the subject line of your email.

4) Post your review on Amazon (I’ll mail your the link when A Scarlet Past is available) Please note, you don’t have to buy a copy of the ebook to post a review on Amazon, anyone with an Amazon account may post a review.

Of course, you will have my eternal gratitude and your name and blog or website link will be included on the dedication page when the ebooks goes live on Amazon, with a little luck that will happen November 19th. 2. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of this, Evanne.
“SonSet” is a short story as stark as its locale. War doesn’t always have a happy ending…

    • I’m grateful you’re willing to trust me with SonSet. When I formatted your story and Amber’s excerpt, the theme tying the stories together became much more obvious. Although, each of us wrote them at different times and without collaboration, the tales dovetail amazingly well. And of course, I’m totally unbiased. 😀
